    (ANI)

Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani have condemned a suicide attack on a police station in Lakki Marwat and sought a report from the IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in this connection.

The death toll in the attack at the police station in Lakki Marwat rose to 19 with dozens others injured.

Zardari and Gilani said such cowardly attacks by terrorists cannot defeat the government's determination in the war against terrorism.

The Nation quoted them as saying that the terrorists would be dealt with an iron hand.

Zardari and Gilani said that the war against terrorism would continue till the elimination of terrorism.

According to sources, an alleged bomber rammed his explosive-packed vehicle into the wall of the Lakki City police station, destroying a part of the premises and some other nearby buildings.

At least 45 police personnel were present at a police station at the time of blast. (ANI)
